English Literature
Literature is the study of books and the study of certain cultures including indigenous traditions. The need of literature in your life is very essential because you use creativity and critical thinking as you read to connect the dots of the stories. Literature also gives entertainment as you are told intense, grieving, and joyful moments.
All three books have something in common. They all have characters that learn and change. First, in The Outsiders, Ponyboy, the main character who goes through many mental health problems as he has death around him and money issues. Second, is The Pigman. John and Lorraine are two main characters in the story that share eachother's narration throughout the novel. They both learn to be different people because the prank they have done to Mr.Pignati caused his death. Lastly, in Touching Spirit Bear, Cole Matthew, is banished to a private island in Alaska named Justice Circle. He gets attacked by a spirit bear and ends up learning to mentally change.
