Math
Math formulas are an important part of high school because they help students solve problems more easily and accurately. Instead of guessing, formulas give clear steps for finding answers in topics like algebra, geometry, and physics. For example, the quadratic formula helps students find the value of unknown variables, while area and volume formulas are useful for measuring shapes. Learning math formulas also improvess problem solving skills and logical thinking, which are useful in everyday life and future careers. Although memorizing formulas can be challenging, understanding how and when to use them makes math more manageable and easier for students.
Algebra formulas are used to solve math problems that include letters and numbers.
Example: 2x + 5 = 15

Geometry formulas are used to find the size of shapes
Example: find the area of the triangle with a base of 8cm and a height of 5 cm.

Trigonometry formulas are used to work with triangles and angles.
Example: Use the pythagorean theorem. A right angle triangle has sides of 6cm and 8cm. What is the length of the hypotenuse?

Statistic formulas are used to understand and compare data.
Example: Find the mean of these numbers. 4, 7, 9, 10

Graph formulas are used to work with points and lines on a graph.
Example: Find the distance between (2,3) and (6,3)
