Welcome to Math! Math is subject that uses your critical thinking where younger students at Palmer learn topics like percentages, to fractions, pythagoras, to financial literacy, surface area and volume, linear equations, and more. Older students at Palmer will be learning certain topics like quadratic functions, factoring polynomials, rationals, radicals, trigonometry, and more. Moving on, math will enhance your brain skills in general and help you on your solving skills especially with numbers.
Grade 8
Grade 8 math curriculum includes the following topics: Percentages, square roots, cubes, and Pythagoras, Rates and Proportions, Fractions, Linear equations, Geometry and Nets, Surface Area and Volume, Probability, and Financial Literacy.
The grade 9 math curriculum includes the following topics: Financial Literacy, Exponents, Polynomials, Rational Numbers, Linear Relations, Linear Equations, Proportional Reasoning, and Statistics.

Grade 10
Grade 10 math curriculum includes Graphing, Unit Conversions, Surface Area and Volume, Trigonometry, Central Tendency, Probability, and Financial Literacy.
Grade 11
The grade 11 curriculum includes the topics Factoring Polynomials, Quadratic Functions, Quadratic Equations, Rationals, Radicals, Trigonometry, and Financial Literacy.
Grade 12
The grade 12 curriculum topics include Arithmetic and Geometric Sequence and Series, Transformations, Polynomials, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions and Equations, Rational Functions and Conics, Trigonometric Functions, and Trigonometric Equations and Identities.
